Product Description
BPC-157 is a pentadecapeptide composed of 15 amino acids. It is a fragment of the body protection compound (BPC) protein complex, originally identified in human gastric juice.
Various preclinical studies have shown accelerated recovery of muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Under research conditions, it has been observed to support protective processes in organs and influence the gastric mucosa.
In the gastrointestinal tract, systemic effects have been described, with studies in living models reporting effects on conditions such as increased intestinal permeability, irritable bowel syndrome, gastrointestinal spasms, and inflammatory states. Some experimental models have also reported a potential analgesic effect.
In laboratory conditions, BPC-157 has been associated with increased collagen and reticulin formation, as well as angiogenesis. At the same time, macrophage and fibroblast activity has been observed. These findings suggest that the peptide may represent a potential tool for studying tendon and muscle healing processes.
